What You Doing Wednesday Week 20

Good morning everyone.
I hope your week is going well so far!

Benji still has his cough
but is more himself.

Little Red's caterpillars are coming along

Each morning Little Red gets up & checks out the size of his caterpillars.
They are growing super fast!

We bought him the pack for his birthday.
You get a net holder for when they have hatched into butterflies
and a form to send off for your caterpillars
to be sent to you.
Your caterpillars come in the post
in the above container.
The container holds all the food the 4 or 5
caterpillars will need.
Once they are in their chrysalis you
move them into the net cage.
Once they have hatched you keep the butterflies for 2 days
& then you let them free.

It is a fantastic learning experience for kids!

I finished Deathly Hallows
so my review will be there on Friday.
I am now reading
Ordained by Devon Ashley
Kindle:

Book:

So far this book has a fantatic start.
I'm 14% in and this has such a different twist
on the vampire theme!
I'll tell you more about it when I have finished reading it :-)

I'm not quite up to my normal standard
but I have got some WIPs this week

I still have my 3 hats not finished but
I have made all of the parts for one of them:
I'm not going to tell you what it is,
you'll have to wait for the reveal on Friday
:-)

I am also making another
Angel Bear Blanket.
My fantastic friend Melissa
from Lazy Daisy Crochet
she has designed these for a fantastic
charity & I'll be sending my bears their way.

    1. I don't think anyone can have too many blankets. Each one is it's own character and needs to be there for different reasons ;-)

  2. Times of caterpillars and other creatures are over in my house. Are we sharing blankets today? ;-)

    1. That's a shame, I love getting up in the morning and checking up on them. Blankets are always fun to share :-)

  3. I agree with Susan. There are never too many (baby) blankets on this planet. I just linked up a blanket to be too! Thanks for hosting Susan!

  4. Thanks for hosting WIP again! I envy you that you get chance to do baby blankets and know where to send to or to whom as a gift. I really want to make one. But I have no baby yet, and not really some one to give to...
    Have a nice day!

  5. That caterpillar kit sounds awesome. Seems to me we used to do the same things with caterpillars we came across in the garden and old jam jars :)

  6. I remember when my son did the little caterpillar kit, he loved it so much. He also raised a little chick when he was younger too.
Looking forward to seeing your completed project on Friday. Hmm, wondering what animal it could be?

    1. Wow Little Red would love to raise a chick. His Nana gets old battery hens and rescues them so he doesn't get to see them from chicks.
