Quick Update on the Dog etc.

There is some good and some bad news.
the good news is Little Red is feeling lots better.
He is currently crashing plastic blocks
as they are star wars spaceships in a war.
Mummy just doesn't understand a war can't be quiet.

I would love to also say a huge thank you for all your kind comments!

The bad news is the dog.
The vet says he has an infection but it could be hiding a number
of things.
They are going to treat the infection first and then go from there.
He has managed 20mins at the most without being sick since
10pm last night.
We've used up all the kitchen roll, tissues and 2 toilet rolls.
Very wasteful but it's just too bad to clean up with a cloth.
He has a cough so she is worried he has kennel cough (even though we paid for the vaccination)
With him being a young dog who likes to eat anything
she is worried he might have lung worm or something stuck in his stomach.
At the moment his lungs and stomach feel fine
so fingers are crossed.
She has said the vomiting could last 3 days.
The cough could last 12 weeks and it will be worse at night!!!!!
His ear infection still hasn't cleared after 2 sets of drops
a set of antibiotics and an ear syringe that went horribly wrong.
He had another fit on Sunday morning so they now think he has epilepsy.
Oh the joys of owning a dog.
I am sat at the dinning room table on an un-comfy chair.
We have banned the dog from anywhere that has carpet or furniture.
After going through 4 throws and 3 towels we gave up and he is now restricted.
Anyway on such a bright note I better go and clear up after him again!

I'm back.
I've taken every pain killer I can and it's not touching anything.
Don't worry when hubby comes home I will be going to get some sleep!

  1. Hi, I'm a relatively new follower. I'm sorry you're going through such a rough time in these days with yourself already being unwell. I hope that in addition to your husband, you have other family or friends who can help you. It's hard enough keeping up when you're a mother... when there's so much going on, you need all the support you can get! hope the dog has nothing serious and your little boy continues to feel better!
