I've Made Friday Week 50

Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are all having a good week
and are looking forward to the weekend.

I got my designing mojo back!
It feels so good!
I've got so many ideas and it's now a case of getting them off my hooks.

First is my Medieval Princess Hat
I designed this for a friends daughter.
She loves purple!
I also designed it in different colours and sizes.
I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

I also finished designing my Spring Daisy Hat
I'm also going to make it in a number of sizes.

I also got around to designing my turtle hat.
I have also made this in different sizes.
I have made the shell so it can be attached to the hat
or used as a photo prop with a baby.

I also made this beautiful Small Newborn Poncho.
I followed the free pattern:
It's a Bob Wilson123 Pattern
and the fantastic thing is you can also
follow a you tube video to make it

It's a really easy pattern to follow and I think it looks so cute.
You can add more design to it but I wanted to keep mine really plain.
It can also be shown with the corners at the front but
I really liked the way it looked on R.C.

As Easter is fast approaching I thought I would make a couple
of things to put on the mantle piece.
I decided to start with:
This free pattern is fantastic.
It was really easy to follow and made up so quickly.
The pattern is written slightly differently than I normally
follow so it took me a couple of minuets to get into it.
It's not difficult it just says inc in each 2nd sc.

As you can see I don't think it turned out that bad.
I feel like I am getting better with each Ami I make.

This week I am reviewing a RAKJ Pattern.
The pattern is the Zoey Set
(I was provided a copy of the pattern to review)

Baby Hat and Leg Warmer Set Crochet Pattern

This was a really easy pattern to follow.
There are very good clear instructions.
The pattern includes multiple sizes so is perfect for any age.
From the very start of the pattern everything is explained clearly
including making a gauge swatch.
My only criticisms would be:
  • I would of liked pictures of the project during the process of being made.
  • I prefer to have round numbers on the pattern so it's easier to follow

A beginner who is able to crochet rounds would find
this pattern easy to follow.

As you can see from the pictures the set looks really pretty.
I love the colour combination and I think
I might make a few more in different colours.
The pattern includes all sizes from newborn - adult.
You can purchase the Zoey Set at Craftsy

I have also finished my Love Bug Hat

I've Read (Listened to this week)
Audio:
Dracula by Bram Stoker

This is another free audio book from Books Should Be Free
WOW I was really glad when I finished this book.
It is a classic and I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of the book.
My only problem is with old english why say 1 word when 64 will do.
I also found the exciting bits a bit underdone.
However if you have never read it I would
still recommend it.
It is the classic!
3.5 out of 5

I've got some other exciting news.
I'm being featured at Linky Love Blog
Please go and take a look

Now it's your turn
It doesn't have to be crocheting
anything you've made is more than welcome!
Please try and visit at least 2 other sites
to see what other people have been making.
Can you also put the pin and link to this page
so that we can get more people joining in.
Thanks!
