I've Made Friday Week 23

Hi everyone!
Hope you have all had a good week!

I've got some good news and some bad news.
The good news is we are having a fantastic family week.
The bad news is that I haven't anything this week.
I know shock horror!
Hopefully it will mean I'll have more finished off for you next week.
I'll also have the stories of what we've been up to this week.

One story I will tell already is Ryan's butterflies have hatched.
We couldn't believe it.
We came down to find one hatched in the morning
and then through the day they started appearing.
Little Red was sooo excited!
He wanted to release it straight away but I said that we were allowed
to keep them till the next day and then we would set them free into the wild.
We've put plants in with sugar water dripped on them
& a lid with soaked kitchen roll as well.

This Week I read:
Kindle

Book:

I loved this book.
I loved how the present twisted into the past.
Only once Ruth understands her families
past does she start to understand herself & her mother.
Over the book her relationships change with everyone.
It is beautifully written & I love learning
the Chinese superstitions and how it changed the path of her family.
This is for the good and the bad.
I would highly recommend this book.
I will be reading some more of this authors books!
I give this book 5 out of 5.

Now it's your turn
It doesn't have to be crocheting
anything you've made is more than welcome!

  1. I love watching butterflies. The kids have that as a project in their first grade classrooms at our school.

  3. Growing butterflies is a pretty good accomplishment. A pat on the back for giving a child something so wonderful.
