Thoughts from the heart

I didn't know whether I should write this post or not. Then I thought if I get these thoughts written dowm then I can put them in perspective and not worry about them till I know for sure. Ever since I went and saw the neuro doctor it's been bugging me. She kept asking specific things and not telling me what she was thinking. She then booked n mri scan and a load of other tests. I then had to see my own doctor to get signed off sick. He already had a letter from neuro. They only normally send letters after the results. Whilst I was telling him about work he said well at least with your other condition it is seen as a "real" illness. I chickened out of actually asking what condition. Not knowing has been bugging me ever since! Yesterday I decided to put all the questions and answers together. I know before you say it, I don't know for sure and they don't till they get the results. I just need to get it out of my head so I can stop worrying. I think they think I have m.s.

A few things brought me to this conclusion. The cfs specialist went straight to saying he didn't think the nerve and migraine problems weren't to do with my cfs n that the nerve damage is probably permenant. Then in my neuro apoinment she kept asking if I have problems with my bladder n asked me to do things like puff up my cheeks n walk in a straight line one foot in front of the other. Put that together with what my doctor said n it makes sense.

I'm going to try and not worry about it. I will if it's true just deal with it. What will happen will happen and I'll deal with it if it does. In some ways it may help with work n that if I have. I don't know I'll just have to wait and see.

Sorry for waffling on! I just needed to get the thoughts out of my head to stop worrying about them.

Blog Hopping and funny story

Little Red came to me (whilst I wasn't looking)
and said look mum I'm flashing.
I got ready to tell him off till
I realized that he
had put his flashing lights from his police car
down his pants and he was making it flash.
Serves mummy right for jumping to the wrong conclusion.
The again it does look rude

He thought he was being funny.

Today I'm joining in a blog hop.
I hope you'll join in too:

Monday 1st day of the holidays

Good Morning everyone (or afternoon, or evening, or night)

Today is the first day of Little Red's half term
He wasn't well over the weekend.
Just a stomach bug nothing serious.
It did mean he didn't to go to a birthday party or go and stay at his Granny & Granddads.
To cheer him up and use some of his Christmas money we decided to buy him:
Skylanders!
We bought it for the wii as we already have one
and it would give him something to play over the holidays as well.
Problem one - if he gets stuck he then wants mummy and daddy to play it whilst he watches.
Second big problem - daddy is addicted to the game!
Third big problem - you can't play parts of the game unless you have other characters - which cost quite a bit each.
I will say this for the games developers they are very clever!
It is a fantastic way to make money.

We didn't get up to much this weekend.
a) I'm not fit to do much
b) Ryan was ill so needed to look after him.

I did have the table set-up to do our first crafting today with
an idea of my own.
I was so excited but Little Red says he doesn't want to do that yet he wants to play.
Oh well as soon as he's in the mood we'll give it a go and post some pictures.

Confession Time

I haven't got anything finished the week :-(

I'm still making my blankets so there is nothing to show

I would also like to say the CFS is better but it isn't
Went to the doctors again and he has given me more
medication for an ear and nasal infection.
CFS is still as bad but I don't think that will be getting better anytime soon.
Also the doctor was a bit strange over a letter from my Neuro appointment.
They only normally send letters once all the tests are finished but she had
already sent one.
When I was in my appointment the specialist get mmm ing but didn't tell
me anything except that they were going to send me for tests.
When I told my doctor about my CFS and work etc he said well
at least with the new problems you have another condition
that is counted as "real" by all the medical world.
Me being me didn't ask what but then said i know that the nerve damage I've
already got is permanent to which he replied yes.
I hadn't been told that I was just testing him.
Oh well we'll find out after they've completed all the tests.

Anyway a brighter note.

I was getting ready this morning and our dog Benji decided that
he is a human.  Since I've been off ill he is my number one shadow and friend.
I thought it was a bit quiet so went into our bedroom to see what he was doing.
Benji had decided it was time to go to bed.

The bed was made before he got there!

On another brighter note 2 of my winning arrived :-)

I was runner up in Crochet Times giveaway
Aren't they beautiful!
Go over to her site and see her clocks. They are fantastic!

And my other winning item that I received was this beautiful

Aren't I just soooo lucky!

I also won some software called
My memories suite
It is a fantastic piece of software and I am really enjoying making up
albums!

WIP Wednesday 15/02/12

Good Afternoon everyone!

I hope you are having a good day!

I managed to have a panic attack in my sleep last night. Interesting?
I was aware I was dreaming, I thought there was someone
in the house but I was paralysed.
I couldn't move and the worst was no matter how hard I tried I couldn't scream.
I new D my hubby was next to me but I couldn't do
anything to get his attention.
It was at this point I woke up.
I was paralysed in my arms, hands, legs and feet.
I had a really bad pins and needles attack so unable to move them.
It is what probably set the dream off.
My heart was racing and I was in a lot of pain
so decided to see if I could move.
I ended up downstairs to give hubby some peace.
Is there a good or bad dream that you have?
I have this one and the other one is a snake is going
to bite a family member.
This is thanks to my mum who took me to the snake park,
in Johannesburg, most days.

Anyway just woken up from a long afternoon sleep - I admitted defeat.
I don't often sleep during the day. I was advised by my doctor that
this can make things worse.
I always make sure I get up, get dressed everyday,
even if that's all I manage.

Anyway onto the more happy cheerful stuff
My WIPs
I haven't got a latest picture of my blanket
I'm going to save that till next week.
I've put the border on a number of the pieces but
I want them added to the blanket before I show you it again.

I do have another WIP.
I treated myself to a magazine.  I know I said I wasn't.
It came with some wool and my son really liked it.
He asked me to make it into a blanket so I thought
I would make my first granny blanket.

Here is how it is going so far:

I like the colours, the blue is my favorite.
I think it's going to be the colour I add to the living room.
I'm thinking the cream and maybe a baby blue or duck egg blue
would be soft enough and bring something else to the room.
I'll be posting about my ideas for the living room
in the next couple of days.

I'm still reading the same book but I also started one on my kindle.
I know I admit it I have a kindle.
I have a book because I love reading in the bath
but if I'm up to it I also read on my kindle.
I also use my kindle for patterns.
It's easy to take with me and can have my patterns on it in pdf format.
It means where ever I go I don't have to worry about not having my patterns with me.
I started reading;
Kiss & Die by Lee Weeks.
I normally love his books and I am enjoying most of the book
but this time it's a bit too gory and nasty.
The description of the torture is a bit too much for me.
I've found I'm even skipping bits.
This isn't like me, I love a good murder but I think
this one has just gone a bit too far.

I am also in the middle of reading
Wish by Alexandra Bullen
&
The complete Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle

I think I need to start treating my books like my WIPs :-)

Don't forget to hop on over and look at some other peoples wonderful work!

Happy Valentines Day

Sorry this post is so late in the day.
It's been a bad fatigue day so I've been trying to rest as much as possible.
If I'd of tried to write it wouldn't of made any sense,
probably still doesn't :-)

Yesterday I decided to try a small easy Valentines make.

I made a valentines wreath.

I got half a ring & some white yarn
I wrapped the yarn around the wreath.

I then added some crocheted hearts.
I used the same heart pattern I used for my free
Valentines Headband pattern.
I only wrap the red yarn around the white yarn so that I can use the wreath for different occasions.

What is happening with the photo's today I do not know?

I decided to add a few more.

And I sat in my living room around little reds picture :-)

Hope you are having a fantastic Valentines day!
