Review of Titanium Rainbow Crochet Hook

Crochet Hooks, Titanium, Rainbow Colours, 5mm

I received a titanium crochet hook
from
to review.
It came beautifully packaged
With a beautiful card.
And it just so beautiful when I opened it.
I love the way the light catches all the different colours.

I wish they had touchable posts.
The hook feels so silky and smooth.
It is amazing the difference you feel in the touch.
Steel hooks feel so cold and rough
compared to the titanium.
They are quite expensive but wouldn't it be a wonderful
gift for a crocheter.
Pro's:
  • Smooth so doesn't catch the yarn
  • feels light compared to other hooks
  • Looks special (perfect for a gift)
Con's
  • Quite Expensive
  • I would prefer the groove of the hook to be longer as it sometimes slips off the yarn.
I think the hook  is a dream and it is well worth it's price.
It just feels so special when you see it and pick it up.
Crocheting with it is a dream as it slides so easily.
My verdict is:
This is a special beautiful hook and is ideal for a gift for yourself or
someone special.

also sells many other special titanium items.

I've Made Friday Week 57

Good Morning Everyone.
I hope you are all having a good week
and are looking forward to the weekend.

I haven't got any crochet finishes this week.
We have finished our family project
for Little Red to take to school:
The background that turns from night to day.
Little Red painted it all by himself.
The automata.
as it turns the Hedgehog and Badger
come out at night
and when it turns to day they pop back into their holes.
It was nice making things as a family.
It was something that hubby enjoyed making as it was
a "machine"

I've finished a few books this week:

The First is the book
by Brent Riggs
If you haven't heard of Brent Riggs he is a very successful blogger
and has been blogging since the start.
He has gained so much knowledge and shares so much!
The book is a compilation of his best tips, tricks, lessons learned,
and advice about blogging specifically,
and indirectly about doing “business on-line.”

Each item is explained and discussed.
There is sooo much information held in this book.
As a newbie it's brilliant to learn how to create your posts
to how to increase traffic to your blog.

If you are already a blogger then this book will
give you hints and tips of how to keep and increase your followers.

Now Brent does run this as a business so he does plug his other services
but why shouldn't he when he is helping bloggers out.

I did find it a bit repetitive in places but this was to get you
to take note of the most important things.
I've taken loads of notes whilst reading it and am going
to start deciding what I can do to keep this blog
going in the right direction.

I read:
5 Steps to Successfully Start a Crochet Business
This free ebook by Sedruola's Yarn Obsession
Is a fantastic quick read with some really useful
hints and tips to get you started.
It gives you a good place to start
and gets you thinking and deciding what's
best for your crochet business.
Well worth a read if you are just starting out.
It's also useful if you want to make sure
that you are hitting your target potential customers.

I also finished:
Walden by Henry David Thoreau
This is a free book on Books Should be Free
I really enjoyed this book at the start
and enjoyed quite a few parts of the book.
My only issue is that he seems to say a bit too much!
I also had to remember it was written in the 1800's.
Due to this fact it can be sexiest and some of the thoughts are old fashioned.
However there were quite a few things that made me laugh and made me think.
Even after all this time quite a lot of the things said
are still pertinent to today's society.
The book is a story about a man who builds himself a small house
near a pond.
Whilst he is alone he uses his time to think his philological thoughts.
He thinks so deeply about even the smallest thing.
I give this book 3 1/2 out of 5.

Ron Weasley's Wand Review

I was just sooo excited to receive this wand for review.
I mean if a Prince can make a spell
with a Harry Potter wand why can't I?
The wand is made out of resin,
which Little Red was slightly disappointed at.
He thought the wand would be a "real" wand.
He thought as it was made out of resin it wasn't "real".
However he hasn't stopped playing with it since it arrived.
It is quite light so when you make your spells
you feel quite comfortable.
I love the detail of the wand
and the fact that they look like each characters wand.

I took it to pick Little Red up from school
and within seconds of him getting it
all his friends were crowded round him.
He has been casting spells ever since.
The wand is really good fun
and great for any Harry Potter collector
or enthusiast.

I received the wand to review
from
I did not receive any money for the review
and all views expressed are my own.

with a crochet pattern for a Jack Russell.

for a very reasonable price!
Here is the one I made:

This was a fantastic pattern to follow.
Easy clear instructions.

I didn't have a single issue with the pattern

I give this pattern a 5 out of 5.
