I've Made Friday Week 15

Wow Friday already!
It seems odd that July is nearly upon us already

Our week took a turn for the worse!
I came down with a really bad stomach bug.
It was humid and nearly fainted a number of times.
I rang hubby to come home to pick Little Red up.
He was late coming out of a meeting so ran
to the car and popped his calf muscle.
He didn't make it in time so I had to go to school
and try and not be sick.
I still can't eat and my IBS is causing me a lot of pain.
To put it in perspective the IBS pain is worse
than giving birth to Little Red.
Hubby can't move because he is in so much pain.
It must be bad cause he is an old fashioned bloke
that doesn't show pain and you can
tell how bad it is when he trys to walk.

Anyway on a more positive note
as you know I finished my Dragon Hat

I have listed it on craftsy along with all my other designs

I haven't managed to finish the penguin bag
so I am afraid you'll have to wait till next week.

Now this week I decided
to join the bandwagon and read

I can honestly say I did enjoy it.
Now I don't normally like reading this type of book.
I normally cringe at explicit scenes.
The difference with this book is it was written in
an innocent sort of way.
If you take out the explicit scenes it's like
reading a teenage angst diary.
I found it funny, enjoyable and eye opening.
I will put the next book on my
want to read list.
I love the sarcasm and dry humor
but I can understand why it won't be everyone's cup of tea.
I give it 5 out of 5
I love a book that can make me laugh
and still have a good story line.
Yes I know it isn't really believable!

Now what have you been making this week?
