YOP A Year of Projects

As well as WIP wednesday and FO Friday I am going to join the year of projects.  As I am only starting late I won't have a full year but I've got till 30th June so more than enough time to make quite a few things.

Listed Below is my list of things to make and the link to the patterns (just click on each picture)

I need to finish what I'm working on at the moment but I can't wait to get started on my list :-)

  1. Yay! You've got the Tree of Life afghan on your list. I love this pattern! I did a mini version for a friend's baby, using the tree chart to make a cushion, and it was so much fun. I don't have the patience for the full afghan though.

And I love how many of your projects are scarves/shawls. Scarves are my default setting :-)

  2. I'm with you, I just got around to joining year of projects a couple weeks ago but I'm optimistic about finishing my list I've created. I just finished up two of those little monkeys for a friend who is having twins! I love the size of them, a good 12 inches and perfect for little hands to drag around! Good luck, can't wait to see your progress on things as you go :)

  3. Tink, I couldn't resist the tree of life afghan. I just love the thought of making something that can be passed down. It being called the tree of life is even better! I must admit I have added to my list as one of the final things to finish. I think I do a bit every week and see how I go. I'll break it up with smaller projects. Scarves and Shawls are fantastic for giving to people and keeping for yourself. Each one is different and beautiful in it's own way. It's fantastic the way you can tell exactly where you are up to on all your projects.
Nicole I love the way you pick a project a week. I'm making the monkey for my son for christmas. i'm going to put a cape on it and make it a super monkey :-) My husband has band me from making him anything else so I thought he would give way for christmas.
